Start: 20:00 at Eurovea – Pribinova street
(The start of the run will take place in a wave manner, while the details and time span of the start will be published by the main organizer during the month of August)
Finish: Eurovea – Pribinova street
Track: 10 km – city circuit leading through the city districts of the Old Town and Petržalka - on a solid surface (the event also includes the relay discipline – Mattoni Couple run - 2 x 5 km)
Time limit: 1,5 hours from the start of the wave
Participation limit: The organizer guarantees participation and all benefits associated with the event for the first 4,000 registered runners with a duly paid entry fee. The participant is considered to be duly registered only after paying the entry fee (or after entering the voucher code sent by the organizer into the registration system), when the system assigns her a start number.
After the participation limit is met, it is not possible to register a runner who has registered but has not paid the entry fee, resp. did not enter the voucher code, therefore we recommend that you make the payment at the same time as logging in (enter the code).

Important note: In the registration form, state your time achieved at the event in 2022, or time achieved in 2023 at an event with a track length of 10 km. The start corridor will be divided into 4 zones according to the specified time. Detailed zoning will be published on the event website before the start. Depending on the classification in the given zone, the competitor will also be given the exact start time of his run.

- M absolute order
- M39 – age up to 39 years (year of birth 1985 – 2006/2009)
- M40 – age 40 – 49 years (year of birth 1975 – 1984)
- M50 – age 50 – 59 years (year of birth 1965 – 1974)
- M60 – age 60 and more (year of birth 1964 and earlier)
Women:
- W absolute order
- W39 – age up to 39 years (year of birth 1985 – 2006/2009)
- W40 – age 40 – 49 years (year of birth 1975 – 1984)
- W50 – age 50 – 59 years (year of birth 1965 – 1974)
- W60 – age 60 and more (year of birth 1964 and earlier)
Age limit:
- Main discipline (10 km) 18 years (the competitor must be 18 years old on the day of the race)
- Mattoni Couple Run: 15 years (on the day of the race, the competitor must be 15 years old)
For participants up to and including 18 years of age, the signed consent of the legal representative is required, in which case the legal representative assumes responsibility for the given competitor.
Starting fee - depending on the date of payment:
- 20 € when paying by 31.07.2024
- 25 € when paying from 01.08.2024 – until the participation limit is met.
- 40 € Mattoni couple run 2 x 5 km
(1 € from each registered participant and 1 € from each sold T-shirt will be used to support the activity of 10,000 trees for Bratislava)
The starting fee includes:
- the start number with chip with your name on it (for the registration and payment of the starting fee by 18.08.2024),
- medal in the finish,
- refreshments on the running track,
- refreshments after the finish line,
- SMS with the finish time to the mobile number specified in the online application,
- possibility to download an online diploma after the run,
- possibility to use changing rooms for changing,
- possibility to store personal belongings in the depository,
- charitable 1€ (1 eur from each paid starting fee will be used for charitable purposes)
The paid entry fee is non-refundable. In case of the information by August 18, 2024, the participant has the option to apply the entry fee to the next edition of this event.
After you fill the application form properly, the system will offer you the option of paying by card payment or via internet banking. After proper payment of the entry fee, you will be sent a confirmation email about the payment.
The price of the entry fee depends on the date (day) when the payment was made (not from the date of the registration in the system). When paying online via the registration system, the amount paid is credited immediately after the payment, so we recommend that you use this payment option, you can immediately verify your successful registration in the list of registered participants on the event website (start list).
Options for paying the entry fee: by payment card or via internet banking - this form of payment will allow you to immediately verify the registration and payment in the list of participants/ start list.
Presentation, picking up the start numbers - Eurovea, Pribinova street, M.R. Štefánik Square:
- 05. - 06.09.2024 from 12:00 to 19:00
- 07.09.2024 from 10:00 to 18:00
Starting zones: In the registration form do not forget to state your time achieved at the event in 2023 or time achieved in 2024 at an event with a track length of 10 km. The start corridor will be divided into 4 zones according to the specified time. A competitor who does not state his time will be automatically assigned to the last zone at the end of the starting field. We strongly ask you to state your real times, also in this way you show respect to your fellow runners. Assignment to the appropriate zone according to the real performance of the runner will allow the organizer to organize independent starts of a group of runners with the same, or very similar performance, which will result in a homogeneous and uniform run of the group of runners on the track without significant time gaps between the fastest and slowest within each zone.
Notification of non-participation - change of the competitor:
The paid entry fee is non-refundable. In case of notification of non-participation by August 12, 2024, the competitor has the opportunity to claim the entry fee in the next year of the event. In the event that the competitor announces his non-participation for health reasons and documents it with a document from the treating doctor between 13.08.2024 and 31.08.2024, he also has the opportunity to claim the entry fee in the next year of the event.
If you cannot participate and want to transfer your start number to another participant, you can do so by sending an email to registracia@becool.sk no later than 31.07. 2024. However, the person who was originally registered must contact us, who will also provide all the information about the new participant. The starter package is taken over and the declaration is confirmed by the new participant. After receiving the starter package, re-registration is no longer possible.
Re-registration in the period from 01.08.2024 until the day when the starting packages start is charged with the amount of EUR 5, which will be paid when taking over the starting package or by transfer to the account. The starting number is non-transferable. If the organizer discovers that a runner with a different starting number than the one listed in the registration system ran, the competitor will be disqualified.
Insurance:
All participants are required to secure individual health insurance (standard general health insurance, covered by one of the insurance companies is sufficient!!!). The organizer does not assume responsibility for damage to property or health related to travel, stay and participation of competitors in the event. Each participant starts at his own risk and is responsible for his state of health in which he starts and participates in the event. The organizer will provide medical and rescue services at the event.
Each participant is obliged to check the mentioned health insurance company during the presentation (this also applies when taking over the start package for another participant). Foreign participants must submit a photocopy of a card confirming health insurance for this event. Without submitting this confirmation, the competitor will not be issued a start package, even if he has paid the start fee.
As in the online application form, you will be able to fill in your health information. This data will be used by the organizer only in case of health complications of the competitor and subsequent treatment by the medical and rescue service. In case of your interest, please complete the submitted data with your current health problem, illness, allergy, contact person, or other important information that can help us in case you during, resp. medical care will be provided at the end of the run. If there is any change in the time between registration and the presentation, please notify the organizers during the presentation. Before the start, we recommend that competitors undergo a medical examination.
Timing:
Measurement using chips is provided by VOS-TPK. The chip is part of the start number and you will receive it at the presentation together with the start number itself. You do not have to return the chip after reaching the finish line, it remains as a souvenir along with the start number.
Results:
The organizer will publish the results immediately after the event on the website sportsofttiming.sk and then on bratislavamarathon.com. The competitors will be ranged in the result list in the order according to the official time (time from the shot of their starting wave to the moment of crossing the finish line). The result sheet will also contain an informative indication of the achieved net (unofficial) time.
Rules:
It is raced according to the rules of WA athletics competitions and these propositions. The competitor may leave the course with permission and under the supervision of the judge, provided that this does not reduce the race distance. A competitor who receives refreshments outside the refreshment stations runs the risk of being excluded from the race. The competitor must immediately withdraw from the race at the behest of the event's chief physician. Any accompaniment (including bicycle escort), resp. any assistance to a competitor during the competition by other persons, with the exception of the necessary medical intervention by a doctor designated by the organization of the event, shall be considered as unlawful assistance.
It is forbidden to use headphones during the run and the competitor may be disqualified. It is dangerous, especially with regard to the safety of runners and spectators, possible organizational guidelines, interventions and instructions of the organizers on the track during the run, the need to react to the movement of accompanying vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles of the organizer, the police, health and rescue services, and last but not least, you about the atmosphere created by runners, spectators and the accompanying program that is prepared for you.
Protests:
Protests must be announced orally to the Chief Judge no later than 30 minutes after the publication of the results. An appeal against the Chief Judge's decision, supported by a deposit of 10 €, must be submitted to the Jury in writing within 30 minutes of the official announcement of the Chief Judge's decision.
Material prizes:
- The first three men and first three women in the overall standings will receive material prizes.
- The first three men and first three women in each category will also receive material prizes
- We will also award the top three women and three men in the overall Nordic walking standings.
Changing rooms and storage room:
Possibility of changing clothes and storing personal belongings near the start and finish areas in the technical zone (Eurovea).
Toilets:
Mobile toilets will be placed near the start and finish areas in the technical zone.
Medical service:
A fast medical and rescue service will be available in the start and finish area, as well as along the running route.
Note: Due to the character of the run (it is run in the evening under artificial lighting), we ask participants to be extra careful and possibly to use their own reflective elements, we recommend using headlamps. Follow the instructions of the organizers and respect your running colleagues on the track.
The organizer BE COOL, s.r.o. reserves the right, depending on the circumstances, to modify and further specify some of the data listed in these propositions, or organizational instructions. The organizer BE COOL, s.r.o. also reserves the right to cancel or interrupt the event or any of the event's disciplines in the event of serious danger, in particular war, the spread of an epidemic, adverse weather, the risk of terror or another attack threatening the safety of the event's participants, or from other unforeseen vis maior events and circumstances.
In this case, the runner is not entitled to a refund of the entry fee, resp. part of it, as the organizer has already incurred the costs of preparing the event in the time before the actual moment of interruption / cancellation of the event. However, after considering all the circumstances and quantifying the costs associated with the preparation of the event, the organizer can compensate the runner for part of the entry fee.
