A participant who does not provide a time will automatically be assigned to the last zone at the back of the starting field.
-
We strongly request that you provide your real, achieved times, showing respect to your fellow runners.
-
Assigning runners to the correct start zone based on real performance enables the organizer to group runners with similar capabilities together, ensuring a smoother and more homogeneous flow of the race without significant time gaps between the fastest and slowest runners within each zone.
Reporting Non-Participation – Changing a Participant:
-
Entry fees are non-refundable.
-
In case of withdrawal reported by 11 August 2025, the participant may transfer the paid entry fee to the next year’s edition of the event.
-
If withdrawal is due to medical reasons and confirmed with a doctor’s certificate between 12 August 2025 and 31 August 2025, the participant may also transfer the paid entry fee to the next year’s edition.
-
If you cannot participate and wish to transfer your start number to another runner, send an email to registracia@becool.sk no later than 31 August 2025.
-
The person originally registered must contact the organizer and provide all information about the new participant.
-
The new participant will pick up the race package and confirm the declaration.
-
After picking up the race package, re-registration is no longer possible.
-
Re-registration between 1 August 2025 and the beginning of bib collection will be subject to a €5 fee, payable when picking up the race package or via bank transfer.
-
The start number is non-transferable.
-
If the organizer finds that someone else has run with another runner’s start number, the participant will be disqualified.
Insurance:
-
All participants must ensure they have individual health insurance (standard general health insurance is sufficient).
-
The organizer does not accept responsibility for any damage to property or health related to travel, accommodation, or participation in the event.
-
Each participant starts at their own risk and is responsible for their health condition upon starting and participating in the race.
-
The organizer will provide medical and rescue services at the event.
-
At registration (bib pickup), each participant must check their health insurance provider (also applies when collecting a race package for someone else).
-
Foreign participants must present a copy of their health insurance card covering this event.
-
Without this confirmation, the race package will not be handed over, even if the entry fee has been paid.
-
In the online registration form, you can fill in your health information.
-
This data will be used only in case of a health emergency during the event by the medical team.
-
If you have any relevant medical condition, illness, allergy, emergency contact, or other important information, please fill it in.
-
If there are any changes between registration and bib pickup, inform the organizers during presentation.
-
We recommend that participants undergo a medical check-up before the event.
Timing:
-
Timing will be provided by VOS-TPK using chips.

Results:
-
Results will be published immediately after the event on sportsofttiming.sk and later on bratislavamarathon.sk.
-
Participants will be ranked according to the official time (from the starting shot to crossing the finish line).
-
The results list will also display your net (unofficial) time for information.
Rules:
-
The race will be conducted in accordance with World Athletics (WA) competition rules and the provisions of these regulations.
-
A runner may leave the course only with the permission and under the supervision of a race official, provided that doing so does not shorten the race distance.
-
A runner who accepts refreshments outside the designated refreshment stations risks being disqualified.
-
A runner must immediately withdraw from the race if ordered by the event’s chief medical officer.
-
Any accompaniment (including cyclists) or any assistance given to runners during the race by other individuals, except for necessary medical intervention by the event’s appointed medical staff, will be considered unauthorized assistance.
-
Use of headphones during the race is prohibited, and runners risk disqualification.
This is primarily for the safety of runners and spectators, as well as for the need to react to organizational instructions, interventions, and directions from organizers on the course, and to be aware of the movement of accompanying vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, police, and rescue services.
Furthermore, using headphones deprives you of the atmosphere created by the runners, spectators, and the accompanying program specially prepared for you.
Protests:
-
Protests must be submitted verbally to the head referee no later than 30 minutes after the results are published.
-
Appeals against the decision of the head referee must be submitted in writing to the jury within 30 minutes after the official announcement of the decision, accompanied by a €10 deposit.
Prizes:
-
The top three men and the top three women in the overall classification will receive prizes.
-
Prizes will also be awarded to the top three men and women in each age category.
Changing Rooms and Bag Storage:
-
Facilities for changing clothes and storing personal belongings will be available in the technical zone near the start and finish area (Eurovea).
Toilets:
-
Portable toilets will be available near the start and finish areas in the technical zone.
Medical Services:
-
Emergency medical services will be available at the start and finish areas as well as along the course.
