This Saturday, we kick off the first in the series of Grand Prix night runs powered by Telekom. In the heart of the Slovak mountains, we’re excited to welcome you to the 13th edition of the popular Telekom Night Run Štrbské Pleso—this year, for the first time under the Telekom brand.

Get ready for an unforgettable experience! The course leads around both the Great and the New (aka Small) Štrbské Pleso lakes, offering unique views of the High Tatras peaks. The evening start time adds a magical atmosphere to the entire run.

All important information can be found below in the organizational instructions. Don’t forget to bring your good mood, a headlamp, and the motivation to push your limits!

Event Information for Saturday:

➡️ Venue: Štrbské Pleso, High Tatras

➡️ Event Base: Après-ski bar PEKYLAND (near the lower cable car station to Solisko, close to Hotel FIS)

➡️ Check-in (bib pickup), registration of new runners: At the event base, in the registration tent, from 10:00 to 19:00.

New registrations will be possible only if the participant limit is not reached (this also applies to kids’ races). Transfer of registration to another runner is allowed on-site, with a fee of €5.

Runners who purchased the discounted Grand Prix bundle (10 km race + kids’ races) will receive a special gift from our general partner Slovak Telekom—a set of practical magnets for attaching the bib to your shirt.

➡️ Race Start/Finish Location:

As in previous years, the start/finish has been moved to the main road between Hotel FIS (address: K vodopádom 26) and Hotel Patria.

• 17:00 – Turbo TV Kids’ Runs (300 m, 600 m, 800 m)

• 18:00 – Charity #rešpekt run (800 m)

• 19:45 – 10 km

• 20:00 – 5 km

➡️ Parking & Arrival: We recommend using the central parking lot at Štrbské Pleso or arriving by Tatra Electric Railway.

➡️ Changing rooms & bag storage: Available near the registration area.

Tip: To help our staff find your bag more quickly after your run, mark it clearly—especially if it’s black—using a colored ribbon or scarf. This will help speed up the process so you can change quickly.

➡️ Course: Maps for the 5 km and 10 km races are available at www.bratislavamarathon.sk under the “Race Day – Course Map” section.

The kids’ races and charity #rešpekt run start from the same place—on the main road between Hotel FIS and Hotel Patria.

Once again, you can look forward to multiple music zones along the course to lift your spirits and energize your run. Folk musicians will also help create a lively atmosphere. Music zone locations are marked on the course maps.

➡️ Refreshments & Finisher Medal:

On the 10 km course, a refreshment station with water will be located around the 4.5 km mark.

At the finish line, you can enjoy Mattoni water, Cool non-alcoholic beverages (for adults), and refreshments from BILLA Slovakia.

Each finisher will receive a participant medal.

➡️ Photos:

Event photos will be provided by the professional photo service GetPica. After the event, participants who gave consent during registration will receive an email with a link to their personal photos.

Please keep your bib visible (not covered by clothing) so your photos can be matched to you.

If you’re unsure whether you gave consent, keep your bib—each one has a unique code that will allow you to access your photos at www.getpica.com.

• 19:30 – Opening of the 10 km start corral

• 19:37 – Opening Ceremonies

• 19:45 – Start of the 10 km Race

• 19:50 – Opening of the 5 km start corral

• 20:00 – Start of the 5 km Race + Nordic Walking

• 21:15 – Awards Ceremony + Draw for prizes among 5 km and 10 km run participants

• 21:30 – After Party at “Apres Ski u Pekyho”

#rešpekt run – 800 m Charity Race – Win a New Samsung!

#rešpekt run is an 800-meter discipline that you can run or walk – all for a good cause.
The entire entry fee (€5, €10, or €15) goes directly to Svetielko pomoci, an organization supporting child patients in eastern Slovakia.

Every participant will receive a finisher's medal, and there’s a chance to win a new Samsung Galaxy A36 5G – the prize draw will take place after the run.

Please note: The winner must be present at the draw in person.

Special guest Bekim will also be attending—he’ll hand out medals to the kids in the afternoon and take photos with #rešpekt run participants before the start.
