Time limit: 1.5 hours
Participant limit: 1,000 registered runners with properly paid entry fees. A participant is considered duly registered only after the entry fee has been paid.
The participant limit may be adjusted based on the organizer’s decision or in accordance with valid epidemiological and hygiene regulations.
Rules: The race will be held in accordance with the rules of the Slovak Athletic Federation and these propositions.

Registration:
Registration for the event is required through the hakuapp.com registration system, based on which you will be assigned a race number.
Online registration is available until 29 May 2026 via bratislavamarathon.sk.
In-person registration will be available on Saturday, 30 May 2026, from 12:00 to 18:00 at Štrbské Pleso, provided the participant limit has not been reached.

Nordic Walking — 5 km
Men and women regardless of age.
The Nordic Walking discipline will be part of the 5 km race. Nordic Walking participants are asked to line up and report at the end of the last starting corridor to avoid collisions with running participants during the race.
Age limit: 18 years — the participant must be 18 years old on the day of the race.
15 years — the participant must be 15 years old on the day of the race for the 5 km run.
For participants aged 18 and under, a signed consent form from a legal guardian is required. The legal guardian assumes responsibility for the participant.
Entry fee, depending on the date of payment:
18 € — 5 km / 21 € — 10 km, if paid by 30 April 2026
22 € — 5 km / 25 € — 10 km, if paid from 1 May 2026 to 30 May 2026, or directly at the event during race packet pickup

If you need an invoice for the entry fee, please contact us first at registracia@becool.sk and we will issue the invoice. After the invoice has been paid, we will send promo codes for creating the registrations. If you request an invoice only after creating and paying for the registration, the invoice will be issued only for the amount of the entry fee, excluding the system fee.
The entry fee includes:
race number with name — for registrations completed and paid by 30 April 2026
refreshment station on the course — for the 10 km race
refreshments after finishing the race
SMS with the result time sent to the mobile number provided in the online registration form
possibility to use changing rooms
possibility to store personal belongings in the baggage storage area
possibility to download an online diploma after the race

After properly completing the registration form, the system will offer you the option to pay by card. After the entry fee has been successfully paid, you will receive a payment confirmation email.
The entry fee amount depends on the date on which the payment is made, not on the date of registration in the system. When paying online through the registration system, the payment is credited immediately after payment. We therefore recommend using this payment option. You can immediately verify your successful registration in the list of registered participants on the event website — start list.
Presentation and race number pickup:
At Après-ski bar PEKYLAND, near the lower station of the Solisko cable car, on Saturday, 30 May 2026, from 10:00 to 18:00.
Absence notification and participant transfer:
Paid entry fees are non-refundable. If a participant reports their absence by 17 May 2026, they may transfer their entry fee to the next edition of the event. The participant can make the transfer themselves through their account in the registration system using the “Registration Options” button and selecting “Defer to the future”.
If a participant reports their absence for health reasons and provides a medical certificate from their attending doctor between 18 May 2026 and 29 May 2026, they may also transfer their entry fee to the next edition of the event. During this period, it is necessary to contact registracia@becool.sk.
If a participant cannot attend and wants to transfer their race number to another participant, this can be done no later than 17 May 2026 through their account in the registration system using the “Registration Options” button and selecting “Transfer”. The participant must enter the email address and name of the new participant, who will then complete their own details after receiving the email. The race packet is collected and the declaration is confirmed by the new participant. After the race packet has been collected, re-registration is no longer possible.
Re-registration from 18 May 2026 until the start of race packet pickup is subject to a 5 € fee. During this period, the re-registration option may no longer be available in the registration system. If you no longer see the option, please contact registracia@becool.sk. Re-registration on race day is not possible. Re-registration is possible no later than one day before the start of event presentation. The race number is non-transferable. If the organizer finds that a runner other than the one listed in the registration system has competed with the race number, the participant will be disqualified.
Insurance:
All participants are required to arrange individual health insurance. Standard general health insurance covered by one of the insurance companies is sufficient. The organizer assumes no responsibility for damage to property or health related to travel, stay, or participation in the event. Each participant starts at their own risk and is responsible for their own state of health when starting and participating in the event. The organizer will provide medical and rescue services at the event.
Each participant is required to check the stated health insurance provider during presentation. This also applies when collecting a race packet on behalf of another participant. Foreign participants must present a copy of a card or document confirming health insurance coverage for this event. Without presenting this confirmation, the participant will not receive the race packet, even if the entry fee has been paid.
In the online registration form, you have the option to provide your health information. The organizer will use this information exclusively in the event of medical complications and subsequent treatment by medical and rescue services. If relevant, please add information about your current medical condition, illness, allergy, emergency contact person, or any other important information that may help us if medical assistance is provided to you during or after the race. If any change occurs between registration and presentation, please inform the organizers during presentation. We recommend that participants undergo a medical check-up before the race.
Timekeeping:
Timekeeping using chips is provided by VOS-TPK. The chip is part of the race number and you will receive it during presentation together with your race number. After finishing the race, you do not need to return the chip. It remains yours as a souvenir together with the race number.
Results:
The organizer will publish the results immediately after the event on bratislavamarathon.sk. Participants will be listed in the results according to official time — from the starting signal to the moment of crossing the finish line. The results list will also include informative net, unofficial time.
Rules:
The race will be held in accordance with WA athletic competition rules and the provisions of these propositions. A participant may leave the course only with permission and under the supervision of a referee, provided that doing so does not shorten the race distance. A participant who accepts refreshments outside official refreshment stations risks being excluded from the race. A participant must immediately withdraw from the race if instructed to do so by the event’s chief medical officer. Any accompaniment, including bicycle escort, or any assistance provided to a participant during the race by other persons, except for necessary medical intervention by a doctor appointed for the event, is considered unauthorized assistance.
The use of headphones during the race is prohibited and may result in disqualification. This is dangerous especially with regard to the safety of runners and spectators, possible organizational instructions, interventions and directions from organizers on the course, the need to react to accompanying vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles of the organizer, police, medical and rescue services, and, last but not least, it deprives you of the atmosphere created by runners, spectators and the accompanying program prepared for you.
Protests:
Protests must be submitted verbally to the chief referee no later than 30 minutes after the publication of results. An appeal against the decision of the chief referee, accompanied by a deposit of 10 €, must be submitted in writing to the jury within 30 minutes after the official announcement of the chief referee’s decision.
Prizes:
The first three women and first three men in the overall ranking and in age categories on the 5 km and 10 km courses will receive material prizes. Material prizes will also be awarded to the first three women and first three men in the overall Nordic Walking ranking.
Changing rooms and baggage storage:
Changing rooms and baggage storage will be available in the start and finish area in the technical zone.
Toilets:
Mobile toilets will be located near the start and finish area in the technical zone.
Medical service:
Fast medical and rescue services will be available in the start and finish area as well as along the race course.
Notice:
Due to the nature of the race, which takes place in the evening under artificial lighting, we ask participants to exercise increased caution and consider using their own reflective elements. The use of headlamps is recommended, especially for the 10 km race.
The organizer, BE COOL, s.r.o., reserves the right, depending on circumstances, to adjust and further specify certain information stated in these propositions or organizational instructions. BE COOL, s.r.o. also reserves the right to cancel or interrupt the event or any of its disciplines in the event of serious danger, including but not limited to war, the spread of an epidemic, adverse weather, threat of terrorism or other attack endangering the safety of participants, or other unforeseeable force majeure events and circumstances.
In such a case, the runner is not entitled to a refund of the entry fee or any part thereof, as the organizer has already incurred costs related to the preparation of the event before the actual interruption or cancellation of the event. However, after considering all circumstances and calculating the costs associated with the preparation of the event, the organizer may compensate the runner for part of the entry fee.
