Time limit: 1.5 hours
Participant limit: 1000 registered runners with properly paid entry fees. An entrant is considered properly registered only after paying the entry fee, at which point the system will assign a race number and list them on the starting list.
The participant limit may be adjusted based on the organizer's decision or based on valid epidemiological and hygiene rules.
Rules: The race will be conducted according to the rules of the Slovak Athletic Federation and these regulations.

Nordic walking (5 km): Men and women regardless of age
The Nordic walking discipline will be part of the 5 km run. We ask Nordic walking participants to line up and register at the end of the last corridor to avoid collisions with running participants during the race.
Age limit:
10 km run: 18 years old (the participant must be 18 years old on the day of the race)
5 km run: 15 years old (the participant must be 15 years old on the day of the race)
For participants under 18 years old, a signed consent from the legal guardian is required, assuming responsibility for the participant.
Entry fee 5KM (depending on the payment date):
18 € when paid by 30.04.2025
22 € when paid from 01.05.2025 to 31.05.2025, or directly at the event during registration
Entry fee 10KM (depending on the payment date):
20 € when paid by 30.04.2025
24 € when paid from 01.05.2025 to 31.05.2025, or directly at the event during registration
The entry fee includes:
- race number with name (upon registration and after payment of the entry fee by 30.04.2025)
- refreshments on the course (for the 10 km run),
- refreshments at the finish line,
- SMS with the final time to the mobile number provided in the online registration,
- access to changing rooms for changing clothes,
- possibility to store personal items,
- option to download an online diploma after the race,

In case of announcing non-participation by 20.05.2025, the participant has the opportunity to apply the entry fee to the next year's edition of this event.
After properly filling out the registration form, the system will offer you the option to pay by credit card or through internet banking. Upon successful payment of the entry fee, a confirmation email will be sent to you.
The amount of the entry fee depends on the date (day) when the payment was made (not the date of registration in the system). When paying online through the registration system, the payment is credited immediately after payment, so we recommend using this payment option. You can verify your successful registration immediately in the list of registered participants on the event's website (start list).
The presentation will take place in the registration tent in the event area – near the Après-ski bar PEKYLAND (at the lower station of the cable car to Solisko, near Hotel Fis) on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Announcement of non-participation – exchange of participant:
The paid entry fee will not be refunded. In case of announcing non-participation by 30.04.2025, the participant has the opportunity to apply the entry fee to the next year's edition of the event. In case the participant announces their non-participation for health reasons and provides proof from their treating doctor between 01.05.2025 and 30.05.2025, they also have the opportunity to apply the entry fee to the next year's edition of the event.
If you are unable to participate and want to transfer your race number to another participant, you can do so by sending an email to registration@becool.sk no later than 30.04.2025. However, the person originally registered must contact us and provide all the details about the new participant. The race package is received and the declaration is confirmed by the new participant. After receiving the race package, preregistration is no longer possible.
Preregistration from 01.05.2025 until the day when the distribution of race packages begins is subject to a fee of 5,-Eur, which will be paid upon receipt of the race package or by bank transfer. The race number is non-transferable. In case the organizer finds that a different runner ran with the race number than the one listed in the registration system, the participant will be disqualified.
Insurance:
All participants are required to obtain individual health insurance (standard general health insurance covered by one of the insurance companies !!!). The organizer does not take responsibility for property damage or health-related damages related to travel, stay, and participation of participants in the event. Each participant starts at their own risk and is responsible for their health condition at the start and participation in the event. The organizer will provide medical and rescue services at the event.
Each participant is obliged to check the specified health insurance at the presentation (this also applies when picking up the race package for another participant). Foreign participants will present a photocopy of the health insurance card for this event. Without presenting this confirmation, the participant will not be issued the race package, even if the entry fee has been paid.
In the online registration form, you have the option to fill in health information about yourself. The organizer will use this data exclusively in case of health complications of the participant and subsequent treatment by medical and rescue services. If you are interested, please provide the submitted data about your current health problem, illness, allergy, contact person, or any other important information that may help us in case you need medical assistance during or after the race. If there are any changes between registration and presentation, please inform the organizers during the presentation. We recommend that participants undergo a medical examination before the start.
Time measurement:
Measurement using chips is provided by the company VOS-TPK. The chip is part of the race number, and you will receive it at the presentation along with the race number. After finishing the race, you do not need to return the chip; it remains with you as a souvenir along with the race number.
Results:
The organizer will publish the results immediately after the event on the website sportsofttiming.sk and subsequently on bratislavamarathon.sk. Participants will be listed in the results according to the official time (time from the start signal to the moment of crossing the finish line). The results list will also include information about the achieved net (unofficial) time.
Rules:
The race is conducted according to the rules of WA athletics competitions and the provisions of these regulations. A participant may leave the track with permission and under the supervision of a referee on the condition that it does not shorten the race distance. A participant who accepts refreshments outside refreshment stations is at risk of being disqualified. A participant must immediately withdraw from the race at the order of the main event doctor. Any accompanying (including cycling escort) or any assistance to a participant during the competition by other persons, except for necessary medical assistance by a doctor designated by the event organization, is considered unauthorized assistance.
Using headphones during the race is prohibited, and the participant may be disqualified. It is dangerous, especially considering the safety of runners and spectators, possible organizational instructions, interventions, and instructions from organizers on the track during the race, the need to respond to the movement of accompanying vehicles, motorcycles, and bicycles of the organizer, police, health, and rescue services, and last but not least, you miss out on the atmosphere created by runners, spectators, and the accompanying program prepared for you.
Protests:
Protests must be submitted orally to the chief referee no later than 30 minutes after the results are published. Appeals against the decision of the chief referee, accompanied by a deposit of €10, must be submitted in writing to the jury within 30 minutes after the official announcement of the decision of the chief referee.
Material prizes:
The first three women and the first three men in the overall ranking and according to age categories on the 5 km and 10 km routes will receive material prizes. Material prizes will also be awarded to the first three women and three men in the overall Nordic walking ranking.
Changing rooms and storage:
There is an option to change clothes and store personal belongings in the start and finish area in the technical zone.
Toilets:
Mobile toilets will be located near the start and finish in the technical zone.
Medical service:
A rapid medical and rescue service will be available at the start and finish area, as well as along the running route.
Notice: Due to the nature of the race (running takes place in the evening hours under artificial lighting), participants are asked to be extra cautious and to use their own reflective elements if necessary. It is recommended to use headlights, especially for the 10 km run.
