ČSOB Winter Series 2025/2026
The ČSOB Winter Series will consist of 4 running events in December 2025, January, February, and March 2026. The ČSOB Winter Series will again be thematically focused, so you have something to look forward to. The events will be a combination of classic running races and virtual races.
- We continue with the virtual form of races, where we want to accommodate all of you who like this format, it helps you prepare for the spring ČSOB Bratislava Marathon, but at the same time you cannot come to every race in Bratislava, or you spend the competition weekend on vacation or skiing.
- This combination will allow everyone to participate from all over Slovakia and possibly from abroad. The reward for participating in each part of the ČSOB Winter Series (regardless of whether virtual or traditional, or a combination) will be a medal. Medals will be given for completing each race, in person at classic events, by mail we will send the medal to those who run virtually, usually within 2 weeks after the event.
- The main goal of the ČSOB Winter Series is for you to experience the competitive atmosphere of races even in the "transition" period, compare your performance, have fun, and prepare for the spring running festival. The ČSOB Winter Series will again be conceived in a fun way this year, you can look forward to several special competitions and activations associated with individual races.
- The virtual form of races is primarily created for competitors who cannot participate in the classic form on the given date. The virtual form will be limited to a smaller number of competitors than the classic form of races.
- Please pay increased attention when filling in the address, it is possible that start numbers, or even medals, will be sent to you by mail, so that we have correct addresses where we will deliver the items to you.
- It will be possible to participate in virtual races over several days (Thursday to Sunday), classic races will have a fixed time and place of start (Saturday).
- Results will be created separately for classic races and separately for virtual races.
- After the end of the ČSOB Winter Series 2025/2026, an informative ranking of the sum of achieved times for virtual runs (4 events) and the sum of achieved times for classic runs (4 events) will be made. The assumption is that the runner always runs the same distance and chooses the same form of competition 4 times.
