Marathon and Half Marathon Course: The course is an urban loop (city districts of Old Town, Ružinov, and Petržalka) on solid surfaces (asphalt, concrete, cobblestones), with no significant elevation changes. Marathon runners complete two loops. The course holds a valid international AIMS certificate.

For warm-up and pre-run activities on Saturday (April 5, 2025) and Sunday (April 6, 2025), use the promenade by the river in Eurovea.

Registration and Event Pack Collection: Details regarding registration and event pack collection times are specified separately for each discipline. Please carefully read the instructions for your selected discipline.

For bulk pickup (10 or more event packs), it will be possible to collect them at EUROVEA Bratislava before the event (exact time to be confirmed). If interested, send a list of participants to registracia@becool.sk by March 26, 2025 (conditions may be further specified).

Before collecting your event pack, check whether your name is on the starting list. If not, contact registracia@becool.sk and bring your "Order Payment Confirmation from Predpredaj" when picking up your event pack.

For relay teams, only one member needs to attend the presentation. For the crawling race, no presentation is required; simply bring the registered child to the start line on Saturday morning as instructed.

Start Restriction: A participant can only start in one discipline on Sunday, April 6, 2025 (marathon, half marathon, or relay), meaning they cannot participate in an individual event and also be a member of a relay team.

Participant Limit: The main organizer will set participant limits for each race and may close registration as necessary, depending on the overall number of registered participants and circumstances related to the event, particularly concerning course capacity, logistical possibilities, and current epidemiological conditions.

Participants can only register for an event by completing the online registration form. Participants are fully responsible for the accuracy of the provided information, including accepting or declining any consents and declarations required in the registration form. By participating, they verify the truthfulness of the data entered.

If you wish to receive an SMS with your result after finishing, or if you want your event photos emailed, ensure you fill in the correct mobile phone number and email address.

If you would like to share your running story, motivation, goals, or an interesting fact about your preparation, please mention it in the notes section of the registration form or email brona@becool.sk.

Payment of Entry Fee: The entry fee can be paid online via a payment card during registration. In case of issues with payment, contact registracia@becool.sk.

The amount of the entry fee depends on the payment date, not the registration date. We recommend using online payment as it is processed immediately, ensuring you can verify your registration status on the event's website right away.

Withdrawal, Health Issues, and Participant Transfer: Paid entry fees are non-refundable. Participants withdrawing due to health reasons may transfer their entry to the next year, provided they submit a medical certificate from March 1, 2025, to April 5, 2025.

Race Number Transfer: A participant can transfer their race number to another individual by emailing a signed consent to registracia@becool.sk no later than February 28, 2025. The original registrant must initiate the transfer. Transfers after March 1, 2025, incur a €5 fee.

Race numbers are non-transferable after collection of the event pack.

For insurance purposes, participants must ensure they have their own health insurance. Organizers are not responsible for damage or health issues related to travel, stay, or participation.

Start Number and Timing Chip: Includes a race number with a timing chip for time measurement and various event benefits like a finisher's medal, race T-shirt for marathon and half-marathon participants, and more.

The Slovak Marathon Championships for men, women, and teams, as well as veteran categories, will also be organized and evaluated within the marathon.

Special Entry Fee for Loyal Marathon Runners:

"Fantastic Four": Marathon runners who have participated in all 18 editions of the event (excluding the virtual version in 2020) and completed the marathon will have free entry. They must register by December 31, 2024, by sending an email to tomas@becool.sk.
Marathon Runners with at least 10 editions (excluding the virtual 2020 version) who have completed the marathon can use a flat-rate entry fee of €40. To apply for the discount, they must register by December 31, 2024, by emailing tomas@becool.sk and requesting a discount code. A list of eligible marathon runners will be published on the event's website.

Benefit for Marathon Runners: In 2025, marathon runners who decide not to complete the second lap after finishing the half-marathon distance (about 20.8 km, descending from the Old Bridge), due to health reasons or inability to meet the time limit, may finish with the half-marathon runners and be classified accordingly in the results list.

The only condition is that after crossing the finish line, the marathon runner must immediately report the change of discipline to the timing team (VOS-TPK), located just beyond the finish line. Additionally, they should inform the organizers (marshals) and referees about the change when directing runners to the finish or the second lap (at 20.8 km).

Please note that the final processing of results may only take place after the last runner finishes, as the timing team will need to verify and confirm the results.

Number and Chip: Marathon participants will receive one race number (novices will receive a second one for their back). The timing chip is attached to the race number, which must be worn visibly on the chest. The race number must not be covered, damaged, or altered in any way.

Children will start according to their age categories (A to F), with intervals of 10-15 minutes between each category, and boys and girls will start separately.

Part of the proceeds from the entry fees for children's runs will be used for charitable and supportive projects for children.

*Bratislava Mile is organized in cooperation with AZB (Athletics Association of Bratislava). Children registered and paid in categories D, E, or F can also participate in the Bratislava Mile for free. Just send an email to registracia@becool.sk to receive a free entry for the Bratislava Mile.

Important Note: Children cannot be registered on the day of the race, April 5, 2025!

Start, Timing, and Results:

Children will start in their respective categories (A to F). The start time for each category is approximate to give parents an idea of when to be prepared with their child for their respective start. Girls will start first, followed by boys.

In categories A and B, parents are allowed to run with their children. Parents are asked to respect those children running without parental support and set an example of fair play.

Children will start in groups of up to 50 participants. In categories A, B, and C, children will be divided into multiple groups for safety and organization.

In categories A and B, children will be divided into: a) a group running with parents b) a group running without parents

Parents must wait for their children at least 20 meters past the finish line to maintain the fairness of the race.

Children's start numbers include a timing chip, which records the time from crossing the start mat to crossing the finish mat. Children must cross both the start and finish lines on their own feet; otherwise, their time will not be recorded, and they will not be included in the results.

Due to wave starts and individual timing, the overall winner in each category may be a child from any wave, depending on the fastest time.

Only children who complete the race without significant help from parents (e.g., being carried or pulled) will be eligible for podium recognition and rewards.

Prizes: The top 3 boys and top 3 girls in each age category will receive material prizes.

The event results will be published on bratislavamarathon.sk, where each child can print an online diploma confirming their participation in the children's runs.

Senior Run & Walk

15th Edition of the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic and the Police Corps Men’s and Women’s Half Marathon Championships

15th CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE MINISTRY OF INTERIOR AND THE POLICE FORCE OF THE SLOVAK REPUBLIC IN MARATHON AND HALF MARATHON

Organizer: Under the authority of the Union of Physical Education Organizations of the Slovak Police and the Sports Center of the Police, the event is organized by BE COOL, s.r.o., in collaboration with Bratislava Marathon o.z., Krajinská 37, 821 06 Bratislava, Slovak Republic.

Co-organizers: The capital city of Slovakia - Bratislava, Bratislava – Staré Mesto District, Petržalka District, Bratislava Self-Governing Region.

Participants already registered for the marathon or half marathon who wish to compete in the Championship must also email tomas@becool.sk!

Only civil employees of the Slovak Ministry of Interior and members of the Slovak Police Force (excluding Fire and Rescue Service employees) may participate in the Championship.

Categories:

Men: • Men born in 2007 or earlier.

Women: • Women born in 2007 or earlier.

Timing: Chip timing provided by VOS-TPK. Results will not be processed without a properly placed and functioning chip. The runner’s official time will be based on the gun time from the start zone.

Results: Results will be published after the event at www.bratislavamarathon.sk and sportsofttiming.sk.

Titles and Awards: The winner in each category of the marathon and half marathon will receive the title "Champion of the Ministry of Interior and Police Force of the Slovak Republic for 2025." The top three finishers will receive a trophy and medal.

Entry fees for participants finishing in the top 6 in both marathon and half marathon categories within the Championship will be fully refunded. These participants should send their bank account details to filan@scpolicie.sk and submit the original receipt of the entry fee to the Police Sports Center, Romanova 37, 851 02 Bratislava.

Facilities: Locker rooms and storage areas will be available in the race's technical zone near the start and finish.

WC: Portable toilets will be placed near the start and finish in the technical zone and along the course.

Medical services: Emergency medical services will be available at the start/finish and along the course.

Technical provisions: • Running shoes must comply with WA regulations (technical rules - rule 5 and 5.5 – maximum sole thickness of 40 mm); runners must present shoes for inspection if requested by officials. • One refreshment station will be placed on the course, with refreshments approved by a hygienist.

ČSOB Bratislava Marathon Edition

Location: Eurovea, Pribinova Street, Bratislava City Center, Slovak Republic

Race Start: 9:00 AM, Eurovea – Pribinova Street

Finish: Eurovea – Pribinova Street

Course: 2 laps of 21.098 km - City circuit (through Staré Mesto, Nové Mesto, Ružinov, and Petržalka districts) on a hard surface (asphalt, concrete, cobblestones), with no significant elevation.

Time Limit: 5 hours

The race will be held according to World Athletics rules and these event regulations.

Registration:
Registration for the race is online and must be completed by 28.02.2025 at 24:00. After this deadline, the system will automatically close registration. Registration is via this link.
Registered participants for the Slovak Marathon Championships must list the official name of their SAZ-registered club in the club field.

Registration for Teams (Men, Women):
Team registration is online through the SAZ portal: http://statistika.atletika.sk/kalendar. Teams can be registered during individual member registration by selecting the team option (A, B, C). The team application must be completed by 30.03.2025 at 24:00. After this deadline, registration will close automatically.

During the event week, team composition can be updated (e.g., in case of a team member’s health issues) via email or phone with the technical delegate by 03.04.2025 at 8:00 PM.

Note: Registration or addition of a new competitor not listed in the original team application will not be accepted.

For SAZ members wishing to compete in the 2025 Slovak Marathon Championships, and who have pre-registered for the ČSOB BAM, they can register for the championships by sending an email by 28.02.2025 to domeny@atletika.sk with their name, registration date for ČSOB BAM, SAZ registration number, and club (it must be the club they are registered with at SAZ).

Entry Fee: 45 € (for the entire registration period for the 2025 Slovak Marathon Championships)

Presentation and Number Pickup:

06.04.2025 from 06:30 AM to 08:00 AM – only for registered participants to pick up numbers and chips (no new registrations).

Categories:

Men and Women – birth year 2007 and older
Veterans (Men and Women) – birth years 1926 - 1990
Competitors born on or before 06.04.1990, in 1-year age categories. The classification date is 06.04.2025.

All veterans are eligible participants in the Slovak Men's and Women's Championships, both in individual and team competitions. The results of veteran categories will be evaluated separately, according to veteran criteria (performance recalculated by age coefficients) in the individual competition.

Team Competition:

Men and Women
A team consists of at least three and a maximum of five competitors.
Team ranking is based on the total time of the best three team members.

Time Measurement:
Timing will be provided by VOS-TPK. A competitor’s performance without a correctly placed functional chip will not be evaluated! The final time will be based on the gun time from the start zone in which the runner starts.

Results:
Results will be published after the event on www.bratislavamarathon.sk and www.atletika.sk.

Titles and Awards:
The winner of each category will receive the title of Slovak Champion for the year 2025. Competitors finishing 1st to 3rd place will receive a medal and a diploma.

The start corridor will be divided into time zones. Competitors participating in the Slovak Marathon Championships will be automatically placed in the first zone.

On the back of the start number and in the online registration form, participants have the option to provide any medical information they deem relevant (allergies, existing conditions, contact person, etc.). These details will be used only in case of emergency medical treatment.

Organizers' Rights:
The organizer reserves the right to modify the event details or cancel the event due to force majeure (e.g., war, epidemic, weather, terrorism, etc.).
