Telekom Night Run Bratislava 2024 – Information on Traffic Restrictions on 06-07.09.2024

On Friday and Saturday, September 6 and 7, 2024, Bratislava will host the 16th edition of the popular running event – Telekom Night Run Bratislava 2024. The start and finish of the race will be at Eurovea, in front of the Slovak National Theatre building.

We kindly ask for your understanding regarding the following traffic restrictions related to the event:

FRIDAY, 06.09.2024

On Friday, September 6, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, children’s races will take place on Pribinova Street, in front of Eurovea. Around 600 children are expected to participate. Entry to the “centrum” garage will be restricted during this time, while all other Eurovea garage entrances will remain accessible.

The “centrum” exit, as well as the entire lane next to the public transport building, will remain unaffected.

We recommend that parents arrive at Eurovea with their children by 5:00 PM to allow enough time to prepare and avoid last-minute rush before the race starts.

SATURDAY, 07.09.2024

All participants and spectators attending the Telekom Night Run Bratislava who plan to drive to Eurovea are advised to arrive by 6:30 PM. After this time, traffic around Eurovea, especially on Pribinova Street near the start/finish area, will be gradually restricted and controlled by city and traffic police.

For parking, please also use areas near Eurovea, such as at the personal port, Gondova Street, near the Mlynské Nivy bus station, or Tyršovo embankment near Arena Theatre. Public transport is recommended, as parking spaces at Eurovea are limited. If arriving by car, we encourage carpooling.

Pedestrian access to Eurovea will remain open throughout the day, except during the main race from 8:00 PM to 8:10 PM when runners will be on Pribinova Street, and again from 8:25 PM to 9:30 PM when participants finish the race at Eurovea. During these times, please use the crossing gate located by the Sheraton Hotel and Slovak National Theatre. Follow the instructions of organizers and police to avoid any conflicts between runners and spectators. You can also use pedestrian crossings, but be mindful of organizers who will manage crossings, especially when the number of runners decreases.

The exit from the underground “Centrum” garage will remain open throughout the day.

From 7:30 PM to around 9:30 PM, please use the “Ružinov” and “Prístav” entrances, located behind the SND building, to enter the underground garages. The “Centrum” entrance will be closed from 7:30 PM until the event concludes. The entire stretch from Šafárikovo Square to the exit of the SND parking lot will also be closed.

These restrictions are essential to ensure the safety of participants and the smooth execution of the event, which is expected to host approximately 4,500 runners (the main race starts at 8:00 PM). Due to increased pedestrian and spectator activity between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM, we urge all drivers to proceed cautiously around Eurovea and follow the instructions of organizers and police.

Traffic along the embankment, from Šafárikovo Square to the SNP Bridge, will be restricted from 7:50 PM to 8:50 PM. Minor delays may also occur in the city center, near SNP Square, Kamenné Square, Štúrova Street, and on Viedenská Road in Petržalka. Traffic will be managed and released by traffic police immediately after the runners pass.

Public transportation along the race route and in the surrounding area will operate on an adjusted schedule during the event. Detailed information about replacement MHD lines and revised timetables can be found on the Bratislava Public Transport website at www.dpb.sk, as well as on the event’s website. Information on redirected MHD stops near Eurovea will be available at the stops themselves. For real-time event updates, please call the hotline at 0904 404 638.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
