The continuation of the Grand Prix powered by Telekom night run series takes us to the beautiful surroundings of Donovaly this Saturday. Not only an exceptional night atmosphere awaits you there, but also plenty of side activities from our partners. ⛰️

Organizational information for Saturday’s event:
➡️ Date and venue of the race: Saturday, July 25, central parking lot Donovaly
➡️ Check-in (race bib pickup), registration of new runners:
Thursday, July 23: MEC (Magenta Experience Center) Eurovea – from 14:30 to 18:00 (New this year!)
Saturday, July 25: at the event venue, in the registration tent at the central parking lot, from 10:00 to 18:00.
When picking up your race bib, you will present the QR code received via email (the so-called check-in pass). You can also pick up the race bib for your loved ones – they just need to forward you their check-in pass.
Participants who purchased the entry fee package for all three Grand Prix events: You do not need to register again. Before each race, you simply pick up a new race bib designated for that event.
New registrations on-site will only be possible if the participant limit is not reached (applies to kids’ runs as well). Transferring a registration to another runner will be possible on-site, with a re-registration fee of 5 euros.

➡️ Parking and arrival at the event: parking options (see map below):
- P1 – central parking lot (limited capacity, as the event village is also located here)
- P2 – gravel parking lot (across the road from P1, paid)
- P3 – cable car parking lot under Nova Hoľa (paid)
When parking in other available areas, please strictly follow regulations. Do not park directly on the running route so as not to obstruct the runners – and consequently yourselves.
⚠️ Traffic restrictions and time buffer: Before arriving in Donovaly, we recommend monitoring the traffic situation and allowing a sufficient time buffer due to potential delays from both directions (Banská Bystrica and Ružomberok). Entry and exit will be significantly restricted during the evening runs – roads on the course will be closed from 19:30 until at least 21:00 (restrictions will last until approx. 21:30).
🛑 IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING DEPARTURE: For the safety of the runners who will still be on the course, please do not leave your parking spaces earlier than 21:10 (the only exception is the P1 central parking lot). In case of any uncertainties, please contact the organizers directly on-site, who will gladly guide you.
➡️ Race start location and times: The start/finish area of the race is located at the central parking lot in Donovaly:
- 17:00 – Turbo TV kids’ runs (300 m, 600 m, 800 m)
- 18:00 – charity #rešpekt run (800 m)
- 20:00 – 10 km
- 20:10 – 5 km
➡️ Changing rooms, bag drop: Changing rooms and bag drop will be available near the check-in area.
Recommendation! To help us find and hand over your backpack/bag faster after your run, we recommend clearly marking your backpack (especially black bags/backpacks), for example with a colored ribbon or scarf. Our team will be able to find it faster based on your instructions, allowing you to change quicker 🙂
➡️ Course: Maps for the 5 km and 10 km disciplines are published on the website www.bratislavamarathon.sk in the Race Day – Venue Map section.
➡️ Refreshments on the course and at the finish line, medal: On the 10 km course, a refreshment station will be set up at approximately kilometer 4.5, where water will be available.
At the finish line, you can refresh yourselves with Mattoni water, a Cool non-alcoholic drink (for adults), and refreshments from BILLA Slovakia. Every runner will receive a finisher medal at the finish line.
Cleanliness on the course: Let’s be considerate of nature, which creates a beautiful backdrop for our run. All waste – from gel wrappers to empty cups – belongs in the designated bins near the refreshment station or at the finish line. Littering outside these zones is prohibited. Let’s show that we are fair runners and leave no trace behind.
➡️ Music zones on the course: New! This year, you can look forward to multiple music zones directly on the course to make your run more enjoyable and boost your energy. Folk musicians will also ensure a great atmosphere.
➡️ Photos: Event photos are provided by the professional photo service GetPica. After the event, participants who gave consent during registration to have photos taken will receive a link to their personal photos sent to the email address provided during registration.
Do not cover your race bib with an extra layer of clothing so your photos can be assigned to you. If you like the photos, you can purchase them individually or in a discounted set.
If you are not sure whether you gave consent during registration to receive photos, keep your race bib, which features a unique code that gives you access to your photos at www.getpica.com.
➡️ Event merch store: Our store will be available as usual during check-in. Accessories featuring the event design and other merchandise from the e-shop shop.becool.sk will be available.
➡️ Raffle: After the award ceremony for the main categories, a drawing for prize items from event partners will take place on stage. Participants in the 5 km and 10 km disciplines are entered into the raffle. Winners will be drawn based on race bib numbers – it pays off to stay until the end!

➡️ #rešpekt run – charity discipline (800 m)
#rešpekt run is an 800 m discipline that you can run or walk for a good cause. The entire entry fee (€5, €10, or €15) goes to the Detská chirurgia – OZ slniečko na ceste! organization, which helps children with various illnesses as well as children who have suffered injuries and severe trauma. Every participant will receive a finisher medal at the finish line.
