This very Saturday, we will kick off the first in the Grand Prix night run series powered by Telekom. In the heart of the Slovak mountains, the 14th edition of the popular Telekom Night Run Štrbské Pleso awaits us.
Get ready for an exceptional experience – the running loop leads around both the Great and New (the so-called little) Štrbské pleso tarns, offering unique views of the High Tatras peaks. The evening start gives this race an unforgettable atmosphere.
You can find all the important information below in the organizational guidelines. Don’t forget to bring a good mood, a headlamp, and the drive to push your limits!

Organizational information for Saturday’s event:
➡️ Race venue: Štrbské Pleso, High Tatras
➡️ Event facilities: SNOW Cross-Country Skiing Area Štrbské Pleso
➡️ Parking is available at the central parking lot in Štrbské Pleso. Alternatively, you can use the convenient transport option of the Tatra electric railway (tram).
➡️ Packet pickup (race bib collection) & new runner registration:
- Thursday, May 28: MEC (Magenta Experience Center) Eurovea (Attention! New this year!) – from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Saturday, May 30: At the event facilities, in the registration tent – from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
On-site registration for new participants will only be possible if the capacity limit has not been reached (this also applies to children’s races). Transferring a registration to another runner will be possible on-site for a re-registration fee of €5.
➡️ Race start location and times: The start/finish area is located on the main road between Hotel FIS (address: K vodopádom 26) and Hotel Patria.
- 17:00 (5:00 PM) – Turbo TV children’s races (300 m, 600 m, 800 m)
- 18:00 (6:00 PM) – Charity #rešpekt run (800 m)
- 20:00 (8:00 PM) – 10 km
- 20:10 (8:10 PM) – 5 km
➡️ Changing rooms & baggages: Changing rooms and a baggage storage will be available near the packet pickup area.
💡 Recommendation! To help us find and return your bag more quickly after you cross the finish line, we highly recommend clearly marking your backpack (especially if it is a black bag/backpack) with something like a colorful ribbon or scarf. Our team will be able to locate it faster based on your description, helping you get changed sooner! 🙂
➡️ The Course: Route maps for the 5 km and 10 km disciplines are available on the website www.bratislavamarathon.sk under the “Deň pretekov – Mapa areálu” (Race Day – Venue Map) section.
The children’s races and the charity #rešpekt run will start from the same location – on the main road roughly between Hotel FIS and Hotel Patria.
Once again this year, you can look forward to several music zones right along the course to keep you energized and entertained. Folk musicians will also be there to create a fantastic atmosphere. The locations of the music stations can be found on the maps for each specific discipline.
➡️ On-course and finish line refreshments, medal: There will be an aid station at approximately the 4.5-kilometer mark on the 10 km course, where water will be available. At the finish line, you can refresh yourself with Mattoni water, a Cool non-alcoholic beverage (for adults), and snacks from BILLA Slovensko. Every runner will receive a finisher medal at the finish line.
Course cleanliness: Let’s be considerate of nature, which creates a beautiful backdrop for our run. All waste – from gel wrappers to empty cups – belongs in the designated bins near the aid station or at the finish line. Littering outside of these zones is strictly prohibited. Let’s show that we are fair runners and leave no trace behind.
➡️ Photos: Event photos are provided by the professional photo service GetPica. After the event, participants who gave consent for photography during registration will receive a link to their personal photos sent to the email address provided at registration.
Do not cover your race bib with another layer of clothing so your photos can be correctly assigned to you. If you like the photos, you can purchase them individually or as a value bundle. If you are unsure whether you gave consent for photo delivery during registration, keep your race bib, which features a unique code that allows you to access your photos on www.getpica.com.
➡️ Event Merch Shop: Our little shop will be available as usual near the registration area. You can choose from accessories featuring the event design as well as other items from the shop.becool.sk e-shop.
➡️ Raffle: Following the award ceremony for the main categories, a raffle featuring prizes from our event partners will take place on stage. Participants from the 5 km and 10 km disciplines are automatically entered into the raffle. Winners will be drawn based on race bib numbers – it pays to stay until the very end!

➡️ #rešpekt run – 800 m charity discipline
The #rešpekt run is an 800-meter event that you can run or walk for a good cause. The entire registration fee (€5, €10, or €15) goes directly to the organization Detská chirurgia – OZ slniečko na ceste! (Pediatric Surgery – Civil Association Sunshine on the Road), which helps children with various medical conditions and those who have suffered trauma and serious injuries.
