Toddler Races – 09:00
After online registration, it is not necessary to check in children (crawlers) in person. Simply arrive with them at the race location, which will be indoors in Eurovea, on floor -1 (in case of warm and dry weather, a variant on the square is possible). Here, children will receive their start number (a sticker for their back).
If you did not manage to register your “crawler” online, just come to the event, report to the organizers, and “place” the child at the start. You will receive a start number from the organizers before the start. We ask for your tolerance in giving priority at the start to children whose older siblings will subsequently participate in the kids’ runs starting at 10:00, so that their parents can calmly manage both kids’ disciplines and cheer on their little ones.
Kids’ Runs – 10:00
Registration and check-in for children (pickup of the start package) take place during the entire start package distribution period starting from Thursday, April 3, 2025, in Eurovea. Pickup of start packages, as well as new registration for children (if the participant limit of 1,500 children is not filled), is possible no later than Friday, April 4, 2025!!!
Children cannot be registered, checked in, nor can their start packages be picked up on the day of the kids’ runs (with the exception of children from outside Bratislava), i.e., on Saturday, April 5, 2025!!! Thank you for your understanding.
The award ceremony for the kids’ runs will take place after the races directly at M. R. Štefánik Square in Eurovea.
The kids’ runs will take place in the following chronological order:
- Bratislava Mile (birth years 2015 – 2010) – 1600 m (mile) – start at 10:00
- A – up to 5 years (birth year 2020 and younger) – 300 m – start at 10:10
- B – 6 and 7 years (birth years 2018 and 2019) – 300 m – start approximately at 10:40
- C – 8 and 9 years (birth years 2016 and 2017) – 600 m – start approximately at 11:00
- D – 10 and 11 years (birth years 2014 and 2015) – 600 m – start approximately at 11:10
- E – 12 and 13 years (birth years 2012 and 2013) – 800 m – start approximately at 11:20
- F – 14 and 15 years (birth years 2010 and 2011) – 800 m – start approximately at 11:30
Notes:
- Start times for individual categories are approximate, depending on the finish of children in the previous category.
- Children line up for the start continuously in the starting corridor created alongside the Eurovea2 building; they will go to the start together, led by an organizer.
- Children in categories A and B will be divided: those running without parent/adult assistance will run in groups of a maximum of 50. Children running with parent/adult assistance will run together at once, regardless of their total number.
- Children running without assistance will always start first.
- Girls will always start first, followed by boys (in categories E and F, girls and boys may be merged into a joint start if numbers are low).
Minimarathon + Senior Run (14:00) and 10K (16:00)
Check-in and Registration: New registration for these disciplines is possible no later than Friday, April 4, 2025 (if the participant limit is not reached earlier). Check-in (pickup of start packages) ends for the Minimarathon and Senior Run at 13:00 and for the 10K at 15:00.
Changing Rooms: Located in the marathon village on Pribinova Street (Eurovea – Technical Area) in a large tent divided into male and female sections. Only runners with a start number will have access. Changing rooms will be open from 13:00 to 18:00.
Baggage Storage: In a tent in the marathon village on Pribinova Street (Eurovea – Technical Area). Use the wristband that is part of the start number to mark your luggage. The organizer is not responsible for the destruction or loss of personal items. Storage will be open from 13:00 to 18:00. Place the strap on your luggage in advance to speed up the drop-off.
Toilets: Portable toilets will be located in the marathon village on Pribinova Street (Eurovea – Technical Area), close to the changing rooms and storage. Toilets are also available directly inside the Eurovea shopping center.
Timing: Times will be measured using a chip that is part of the start number. A runner’s final time will be determined according to the gun time of the start of the zone in which the runner starts. The start of both races will be in 3 waves; line up in the starting corridors/zones according to your reported times and current running form. Senior Run and Nordic Walking participants will join the last corridor at the end of the Minimarathon – the 3rd corridor.
Chip Placement: The chip is part of the start number (do not tamper with it; it may be damaged). After crossing the finish line, it is not necessary to return the chip; it remains with you as a souvenir along with the start number.
Start Number (Bib): Carefully check your first and last name, birth year, and discipline when your start number is assigned to avoid confusion between namesakes. Runners receive one number, which they are obliged to place visibly on their chest!!! It is strictly forbidden to place the number on the thighs or back. The start number must be worn as produced; it must not be cut, folded, or covered. Any modification or interference with the start number before and during the race is prohibited. For violation of this rule (WA rules – Rule 143, points 7, 8), the runner will be disqualified. The start number remains with the runner after the race.
The Course: We ask all runners to consider their current sporting performance when lining up in the starting corridor, with “faster” runners lining up at the front. This shows mutual consideration and makes the entire start process smoother and safer.
The corridor is divided into 3 zones for both races:
- A) Minimarathon under 28:00 – 10K under 54:00
- B) Minimarathon over 28:00 – 10K 54:01 – 60:00
- C) Senior Run/Nordic Walking – 10K over 60:01 (Senior Run/Nordic Walking participants start behind the last zone of the minimarathon)
All changes of direction on the course will be marked by barriers and directional signs, or runners will be navigated by organizers. Every kilometer of the race distance will be marked on vertical indicators.
Refreshments: The refreshment station for the “10K with Mattoni” discipline is located approximately at the 5 km mark (water) when descending from the Lanfranconi Bridge ramp on the Petržalka side.
Medical Aid: Medical services and ambulance vehicles will be located along the race route as well as at the finish line.
The Finish: After crossing the finish line, runners will continuously pass through a narrowed corridor where they will receive a finisher’s medal and refreshments. The exit from the corridor will be on the square within Eurovea2 – under the skyscraper.
Award Ceremony: On the main stage at M. R. Štefánik Square in Eurovea. Minimarathon – approximately at 14:45; 10K – approximately at 17:30. During the event, you can follow online results at www.sportsofttiming.sk. Results will be published on Saturday evening, April 5, 2025, on the websites www.sportsofttiming.sk and www.bratislavamarathon.sk.
Sunday, April 6, 2025
Changing Rooms: In the marathon village (Eurovea – Technical Area) in a large tent divided into male and female sections. Only runners with a start number will have access. Open on Sunday from 07:30 to 15:00.

CLOTHING COLLECTION BEFORE THE START: In the last block before the start/finish arch – “Block A” – there will be 2 sets of 2 portable crates located on the outside of the corridor just before the start line (roughly 20-40m) so you can throw in jackets/windbreakers/blankets that you are wearing in the corridor right before the start. These crates will then be moved to the baggage storage, where you can find and pick up your items after the finish. If you write your start number on your items, organizers will try to sort them clearly for you!!!
Portable Toilets: Will be located at:
- A) Near the changing rooms and storage in Eurovea (Pribinova St.) – Technical Area + near the starting corridor (you can also use toilets directly in the Eurovea center).
- B) At the Karadžičova bus stop (0.6 km – relay handover) – 2 units.

Timing: Times will be measured using a chip that is part of the start number. For the relay, the chip is only on the relay baton. Results will be presented in accordance with WA rules, according to the official start time of the runner’s zone and the moment the runner crosses the finish line. The so-called “net time” (the time elapsed between crossing the start and finish lines) will also be provided for information. This time is not official.
Start Number (Bib): Carefully check your first and last name, birth year, and discipline.
- a) Marathon and Half Marathon – runners receive one number to be placed visibly on the chest.
- b) Relay Race – each member receives one number distinguished by a letter (A, B, C, or D), to be placed visibly on the chest.
The starting corridor will be divided into 4 zones:
- A) Marathon under 3:15 + Half Marathon under 1:45 + Slovak National Marathon Championships + Ministry of Interior/Police Championships – Start 09:00
- B) Marathon 3:15 to 3:45 + Half Marathon 1:45 to 1:55 – Start 09:05
- C) Marathon 3:45 to 4:15 + Half Marathon 1:55 to 2:05 + Relays – Start 09:10
- D) Marathon over 4:15 + Half Marathon over 2:05 – Start 09:15
The start number remains with the runner along with the chip. On the back of the start number, there is a medical form. Filling it out is voluntary but can provide us with important information in case of health problems. We ask you to fill it out responsibly; the information serves exclusively for your protection.
Instructions for Relay Half Marathon
Organization and Instructions for Relay Teams: The exchange zones are not located directly on the race route. It is necessary to run a few meters off the main course to reach them, and similarly, return from the exchange zone back to the main route. The goal is to achieve a clearer and safer way of handing over batons and to ensure relay runners mix minimally with the main race runners.
Exchange points will be properly marked with signs and organizers. Pay close attention to both the approach to the exchange zone and the moment you rejoin the main route after taking over the relay to avoid collisions.
You can store personal items in the technical zone storage. Items you wish to have upon finishing your relay segment will be carried for you by your teammate running after you.
Segment Lengths: A (5.8 km) – B (5.3 km) – C (5 km) – D (5 km)
Exchange Point Locations:
- A – Eurovea: Starts at 09:10 from the third “C” zone. Items Runner A wants at exchange A/B are carried by Runner B (travels by bus). The exchange is at the end of Ružinovská Street (5.8 km). Runner A returns to Eurovea on foot or by organizer bus.
- B – Ružinovská Street (5.8 km): Runner B travels from the start/finish by bus (departure 08:25 from Pribinova St., opposite the Ministry of Interior). Items Runner B wants at exchange B/C are carried by Runner C. Runner B returns to Eurovea on foot (approx. 700m).
